Working with wood has always interested me from an early age, so much so that I considered building furniture as a full time career right out of high school. My fear then was always that if I made woodworking a career or every day job I might not enjoy it nearly as much as I would treating it as a hobby that I could put down for weeks, months and eventually years.
Today woodworking is something I truly enjoy, some of my projects have challenged me both mentally and physically because of their size and the physical limitation of my equipment but I love the challenge. Nothing gives me more joy than taking a raw piece of wood and shaping it into something that is one of a kind and unique in its own way. Each piece of wood has a beauty all its own, it is my goal to see that and bring it forward into something that is beautiful and will be cherished for many years after I have left this earth.
